LaLiga Tune-Ins

I was given the end card layout as a 2D layout designed by Steve Mandelbaum; a senior designer at ESPN +. My job was to design and animate a six seconds tune-in and turn it into a toolkit capable to output all the variations needed for the season and all the formats needed throughout the campaign. With a short timeline for production I needed to find a simple concept. I came up with a scene that feels like a spring afternoon in the streets of Barcelona; right next to the stadium a few hours before the big game begins. The music and sound FX our editor Josh Saxby came up with really tied the piece together nicely. I was very pleased with the results. The toolkit reduced drastically the amount of manual labor for our team throughout the season, and this animation ended up being the best performing asset on the entire campaign.
